Job Introduction

About the role

At Sodexo, it starts with the everyday. 

As the Head of Stores, you'll mainly work in the Central loading bay that distributes goods through two main buildings. You'll be checking and signing for all goods received ensuring compliance with company procedures and computer databases are accurate and up to date.

You'll ensure the quality and quantity of all goods are correct upon delivery, and carry out compliance paperwork to reflect this. You'll be responsible for your own workload, as well as that of your team. Ensuring the stores areas are kept clean, organised and free from hazards.

You'll Ideally need:

• Experience in a similar role ideally gained within a catering environment.
• HACCP knowledge 
• Manual Handling experience 
• Good communication skills to enable communication with colleagues and clients regarding on job duties and provision of stores service.

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practices so it is vital, that you'll champion this.

Please also note that a basic DBS check will be required if your application will be successful.

Package Description

• 40 hours per week
• £12.50 per hour 
• Monday-Friday with very occasional evenings
