🍽️ Your Role at a Glance

As the Catering & Soft Services Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional catering and housekeeping services at our esteemed boarding school. Your leadership will ensure high standards, client satisfaction, and a positive working environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• 🍳 Culinary Excellence: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring they meet company standards and delight our students and staff.

• 🧼 Hygiene & Safety: Maintain top-tier food hygiene and cleanliness in line with health and safety regulations.

• 💰 Budget Management: Ensure food production stays within budget, focusing on raw material, sales, and labor costs.

• 👥 Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a team of 20 staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• 📈 Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with modern catering techniques to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

• 🛡️ Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety legislation and company policies, ensuring the safety of colleagues and customers.

• 🔐 Security: Ensure the security of all food and beverage stocks within the production area.

• 🎓 Training & Development: Conduct annual staff appraisals and maintain training records, recognizing and meeting individual training needs.

🎯 What We Expect

• 📚 Experience: 2-3 years of leadership and supervisory experience in a similar role.

• 🤝 Interpersonal Skills: Strong team-building abilities and excellent communication skills.

• 📊 Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets and financial guidelines.

• 🎓 Qualifications: Relevant vocational qualifications; an HND or equivalent is advantageous.

• 💡 Proactivity: A proactive approach to problem-solving and business development.
