- £15.88 to £19.33 per hour with Sodexo benefits
- £3,500 RRP payment per annum, which is £67.12 per week
- Shifts are Monday to Friday
- 27 Days holiday per year

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to be avital part of our skilled Estates Team, delivering high quality servicesaligned with industry standards. Working collaboratively within a developedteam, you will contribute to the daily maintenance and emergency responseactivities of the hospital.
Your role will involve carrying out a wide range ofplanned and urgent tasks to the highest standards, ensuring efficiency, safety,and compliance with HTM guidelines, industry best practices, and Trust andSodexo Health and Safety policies, including Infection Control and Permit toWork procedures.

What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge, experience, and competence in ventilation systems, plant, control systems, and equipment.
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair faults in complex ventilation installations, passing on knowledge to others.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work complies with legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety requirements.
- Investigate causes of breakdowns or failures and undertake appropriate remedial actions.
- Assemble and install minor works, coordinating with other trades and ensuring proper documentation of plant history.
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure their compliance with health and safety policies.
- Instruct and train colleagues on core trade related tasks and learn new techniques through training and certification.
- Communicate effectively with departmental staff and follow procedures related to infection control and departmental protocols.
What You Bring:
- Excellent working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work related to HVAC and BMS systems and general construction.
- Ability to identify problems, understand key issues and investigate alternatives.
- Experience with Design and Build projects.
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and COSHH.
- Trained and competent at safe isolations and verifications of NHS Healthcare Critical Ventilation Systems.
- ONC/HNC or similar qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Self motivated and confident
- Good communication skills
- A good decision maker who copes well under pressure
- Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) and Building Information Model (BIM) Experience.
