Salary: £35,000 + Sodexo Benefits + Company Vehicle
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Full UK driving license needed.
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grounds Manager to oversee multi-site grounds operations at a high-profile pharmaceutical campus. You’ll be at the heart of delivering outstanding service, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and sustainability across multiple sites.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop grounds teams across Stevenage, Harlow, and Cockrell Close, fostering a high-performance and zero-harm culture.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of grounds maintenance including landscaping, gritting, tree care, and environmental support.
- Drive compliance with health, safety, environmental, and fleet regulations.
- Oversee recruitment, training, absence and performance management in line with Sodexo HR policies.
- Monitor KPIs, manage service tickets (e.g., ServiceNow), and ensure strong stakeholder engagement and client satisfaction.
- Champion sustainability and biodiversity initiatives aligned with GSK’s environmental goals.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing grounds or FM services across multiple sites.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Health & Safety compliance knowledge and zero-harm mindset.
- Experience in HR processes (conduct, grievances, absence management).
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP).
- Full UK driving license.

- Conflict and change management experience
- COSHH, HAVS, and Working at Height awareness
