We have a fantastic Graduate opportunity for 18 months working as part of our Integrator property management team specialising in Energy Management, Asset Management and Sustainability in the Built Environment.

 

Role Responsibility

As a graduate you will be working across a broad range of our services to support the client delivery team but with key focus on Energy Management, Asset Management and Sustainability.

Energy Management

You will be a key part of the team responsible for the management of all utilities of the Client’s Estate including electricity, gas, oil, biomass, renewables, water and waste. You will produce, review and analyse data on the Estate to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved. You will also research new opportunities to reduce energy and resource demand for all facilities.

Assisting with the development and operations of the Client’s Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) to ensure optimal conditions for the Client’s end users. This is a key part of the role to contribute to future energy savings and climate change targets through accurate assessment of energy data. To aid in the process the graduate will become skilled in the use of energy management software and all Microsoft programmes.

Sustainability

Our Client has an ambitious Sustainability Strategy for their organisation and you will support in the delivery of Carbon Reduction Initiatives across the Estate and operations. This will include measuring and developing carbon reduction recommendations across the built environment including renewable energy opportunities.

You will also play a key role implementing and managing the Client’s Environmental Management System and develop and support Circular Economy principles across the Client’s Estate.

Asset Management

You will support by contributing to Asset Management Plans that strive for maximum efficiency of energy and resources through lifecycle maintenance activities or new projects. You will assist the Asset Team to ensure Asset information across the Estate is maintained to the required level.

Key Responsibilities

Collection and analysis of data (both quantitative and qualitative).

Interrogate quality and validity of data.

Responding to client and other stakeholder queries.

Preparing information and data sets for client reports and presenting this to internal and/or external clients.

Supporting the client delivery team with preparation of relevant reports.

Undertake site visits in relation to Energy Management, Sustainability and Asset Management.

Supporting other Sodexo contracts across the UK and Ireland.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who has a keen interest in energy, engineering, sustainability and the built environment and are looking for a career in the property management industry.

The successful candidate will have:

Ability to manage time effectively, remaining flexible whilst working across teams and taking the initiative during busy times to ensure a quick turnaround.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage directly with client teams and other stakeholders.

A degree in a relevant discipline (engineering and energy-related, minimum grade 2:2)

Ambition to continually develop your consultancy and technical skills.

A good work ethic and team skills.

Strong analytical acumen.

Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel

Package Description

We are offering a salary of £25,000 per annum,  you will also get 23 days holiday too.
