Global VP Quality Assurance Compliance

Job Introduction

 

We're looking for an outstanding Quality Assurance professional who’s ready to step up to position on a global scale.

Joining the Global Service Operations team, you’ll report to the SVP FM Platform and play a pivotal role in simplifying and streamlining the efficiency, cost reduction and contract management programs. You’ll have a proven track record in Quality Management; including the development, implementation and certification of management systems

You’ll have strong analytical skills and be able to communicate and present plans and reports robustly as well as find solutions to complex issues. You’re influencing skills will be critical to your success, you’ll need to be able to communicate confidently across all global regions and cultures and develop a global network to promote consistency in the management of Quality, and for the mutual benefit of all QA staff in the group.

With a passion for efficiency and innovation you’ll implement new technologies to ensure that the management of Quality is automatic and reporting is in real time.You’ll implement consistent and transparent process across all Sodexo segments, overcome borders, boundaries and complexities to strike the balance between local practices and global processes.

Home working is supported however some global travel will be required.

Role Responsibility

  • Provide global oversight to Sodexo’s Quality Assurance programs and systems.
  • To lead the Sodexo group Quality Assurance function through establishing the Quality Assurance strategy and directing / supporting Sodexo QA resources at the regional level to implement the strategy in order to realize the group objectives.
  • Provide leadership, support and perform compliance officer duties to all of Sodexo’s segments and functions.
  • Establish and implement the group strategy for Quality Assurance, setting objectives in line with Sodexo group ambition to deliver Quality of Life services.
  • Provide direction, leadership and support to Quality Assurance across the group in all regions.
  • Provide reporting to top management in regards to Quality Assurance and compliance.
  • Develop, continuously improve and oversee the management of the global Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Build relationships with external organizations and ambassador Sodexo Quality and Compliance.
  • Implement consistent and transparent process across all segments.

The Ideal Candidate

What’s essential:

  • Industry leading QA knowledge, experience and capability gained within pharmaceutical or life sciences business
  • BA or BSc in Life Sciences or relevant QA related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to establish working relationships with cross functional groups to reach common understanding on quality issues and secure organisational resources to deploy effectively
  • Detailed understanding of QA standards and best practice to drive results and optimise work processes
  • Ability to utilise electronic quality systems, analysis data and make sound decisions from this
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills and ability to engage across a geographically diverse business
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to positively collaborate and create an environment of accountability
  • Personal resilience to manage ambiguity and adversity within a complex business
  • Ability to challenge with humility to create new and better ways for the organisation to be successful
  • Highly organised and responsive, with ability to deliver under pressure
  • High levels of computer literacy – Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Motivated and driven to deliver customer-centric solutions
