Location: Fortrea Clinical Research Unit - Leeds LS11 9EH
Salary: £21,000 & excellent employee benefits
Part Time / Permanent: 3 days across Monday – Friday - 08:00-16:00

Sodexo have a new opportunity for a QHSE Manager to join our onsite team at the Fortrea Clinical Research Unit in Holbeck. 
   
 Drawing on your experience to date you will have operational responsibilities for GXP Quality Compliance and auditing on the account.

Working part time across 3 days across Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00, you will play an integral role in our established team.

About the Role
A selection of the responsibilities in this role include: 
  • Delivery of quality and compliance support to the Sodexo operational teams in the Fortrea account.
  • Own and implement the HSE and Quality Plan working closely with the GSM, site management team and client. 
  • Support Managers/Supervisors with safety observation reporting and action completion where required
  • Manage and administer employee training programme including client specified training requirements 
  • Help to ensure Sodexo Managed facilities and services are audit ready for external regulatory and internal audits, including data security and integrity of systems
  • Oversee and review quality documentation including service guides, quality plans and quality agreements with external providers
  • Execute various processes (e.g. QMS / documentation control, change control, risk management, non-conformance and CAPA management, 3rd party management) in compliance to relevant standards.
  • Assist and oversee auditing internal quality processes for managing sub contractors and procuring services
  • Conduct training in GxP and QMS topics, to the wider Sodexo operations team.
  • Work with client and Sodexo teams to investigate root-causes, analyse and implement corrective action and preventative actions, particularly where GxP deficiencies are noted.
About You 
Knowledge and experience required for this role : 
  • Safety accreditation – IOSH / NEBOSH
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSE & ISO standards
  • Science Degree or equivalent experience  
  • Background in auditing
  • Analytical skills, ability to systematically gather information from a variety of sources 
  • Reporting- Ability to write persuasive and effective reports and communications, which clearly define findings and their causes, and recommendations made.
  • Experienced GXP in a Pharma environment
  • Experience in managing training, change control and document control processes
  • Excellent administration, planning and computing skills
  • Excellent and confident communicator – both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of CAPA
  • Trained internal auditor
  • Experience in taking part in external audit process, preferably from MHRA / FDA
