General Operative for Events

Job Introduction

As a General Operative at Sodexo in Ringaskiddy, Cork, You'll will be responsible for managing events, helping the front of house concierge, moving furniture, setting up rooms, guiding visitors/contractors and helping in all aspects of hospitality.   What you’ll do:  

  • Coordinate with the building authorities for building related matters 

  • Work closely with hospitality and reception to ensure the events are running smoothly  

  • Ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed 

What you bring:  

  • Previous experience within a similar role

  • A keen eye for detail – nothing goes unnoticed 

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to connect and work with a young and demanding set of employees 

  • Energetic and capable of taking initiative and decisions when needed
