Job Introduction

Are you ready to step-up to Finance Director?

At The Good Care Group, The Good Care Group at Riverstone and Oxford Aunts we blend a caring approach with a commercial edge – just like you. Our way of working has seen us grow our annual turnover to over £30 million and catch the eye of the Sodexo Group, who acquired us in 2019. It’s also led to us becoming highly respected in our industry and the most awarded. We’re the only dedicated live-in care provider rated ‘Outstanding’ in all 5 areas by the Care Quality Commission.

We are looking for a talented individual - perhaps someone who is currently in a number two position who is looking to make a step-up to Finance Director - to join our team.  You will have the ability to make this role your own whilst benefiting from the support of the CFO of the UK & Ireland Homecare Division.

Role Responsibility

As a key member of our senior management team, you’ll impact on every major project and decision we make.  Your commercial thinking will enable us to successfully balance growing our business and controlling costs with improving the lives of elderly people by providing the highest quality care in their own homes.

Supporting our MD, you’ll ensure the successful financial performance of every area of our business. Leading and developing our finance team, you’ll be at the heart of everything, from improving our budgeting and accounting systems to making sure payroll and cash management run smoothly.

The Ideal Candidate

A skilled professional with wide-ranging finance experience, you are a dynamic leader with excellent people skills and the ability to help everyone in your team perform at their best. You must have a minimum of 5 years PQE.  With the drive to make change happen, you must also be a confident communicator with a track record of meeting business requirements and providing robust and meaningful business reporting to support effective decision making.  Health and social care experience is desirable, but not essential.

By submitting your details, you acknowledge that The Good Care Group is collecting, processing and using your personal data for managing your application. For more information, please visit our Candidate Privacy Notice
