Facilities Compliance Coordinator

- £30,000 to £32,000 per annum

Join Sodexo’s Integrated Facilities Management team supporting the University of Greenwich and help keep a complex, multi-site estate running safely, smoothly and to standard. As our Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted voice on “how we’re doing”, planning and delivering audits across hard and soft services, turning data into clear insights, and partnering with managers to fix what matters. You’ll champion a culture of doing the right thing, reduce risk and penalties through smart trend analysis, and keep the client confident that we’re meeting, and exceeding, our KPIs. If you’re naturally inquisitive, calm under pressure and love influencing people with evidence, this is a role where your independence is valued and your recommendations are acted on. Based across London and Kent campuses, you’ll have visibility, variety and room to grow.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct audits to monitor service compliance in accordance with contractual KPIs and SLAs, company procedures, best practice, legislative and statutory requirements. Audits will cover a whole range of IFM services delivered by Sodexo at UoG
- Raise Improvement Reports to highlight areas of failure and communicate these for action as relevant
- Compile monthly service audit findings for reports to Sodexo management team
- Highlight and report any health and safety issues encountered during audit activity
- Conduct accompanied audits with and as directed by the clients
- Plan your auditing schedule, to ensure very high- and high-risk areas are prioritised

What you bring:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience of successfully conducting internal audits to monitor compliance in accordance with contractual KPIs and SLAs, company procedures, best practice, legislative statutory requirements
- An investigative and inquisitive mind, high attention to detail and the ability to deal with large amounts of data
- A self-starter, with a positive and motivated approach, professional at all times. Driven by quality, providing highest standards of service at all times
- Good understanding of Facilities Management
- Good level of numeracy/literacy/IT skills and eagerness to learn different IT systems including Global Maximo, ECAT, SMS
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to influence, challenge and engage people during audits
- Analytical, and multitasking skills with the ability to work autonomously with little supervision
- Willingness to learn and develop skill set
- Dedication to objectivity and good judgment skills
- Be Resilient, calm & logical under pressure but must understand urgency and respond accordingly
Desirable
- Experience within an IFM Compliance environment
- Experience working in an educational environment
- Proven background working in large IFM contract
- IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification
