FM Systems Training Manager

Job Introduction

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and proactive FM System Training Manager to lead the development, coordination, and delivery of training programmes that support the effective use of CAFM and FM technology solutions across multiple segments. In this role, you’ll shape the training strategy, oversee training delivery, and ensure our teams have the capability and confidence to use FM systems to their full potential.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Lead the end‑to‑end FM system training strategy for the FMi, ensuring training aligns with deployment plans, operational needs, and system enhancements.

  • Manage and support the FM System Training Team, promoting professional development, knowledge growth, and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with the FMi Leadership Team to ensure training plans, progress updates, and capability roadmaps are clearly communicated and consistently maintained.

  • Develop, refine, and maintain training materials, user guides, e‑learning content, and knowledge‑base resources to support system adoption across UK&I.

  • Oversee training delivery for standard tech mobilisations, ensuring all stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and role‑appropriate system training.

  • Coordinate training demand across the DELIVERY Team, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and training schedules are met.

  • Collaborate with FM System Deployment teams to ensure training is integrated seamlessly into mobilisation, transition, and change management processes.

  • Manage escalations related to training gaps, system understanding, or delivery delays, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.

  • Champion consistent, clear communication across the FM System Training Team, ensuring a customer‑focused and solution‑driven approach.

 The Ideal Candidate 

  • Skilled in developing and delivering solutions to complex system‑related training challenges.

  • Experienced in change management and supporting teams through system transitions or upgrades.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify training needs and address system knowledge gaps.

  • Adaptable and able to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment, working independently when required.

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and a passion for developing system capability across teams.

  • Previous experience managing end‑to‑end delivery of system training programmes or technical workstreams.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.

  • Detail‑oriented with a quality‑driven approach and the confidence to take calculated risks when needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow team knowledge, support training delivery, and plan individual development pathways within a technical training environment.
