Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for an Events Porter to join our team at Headingley Stadium. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a fast-paced venue with all-year round operations. With a range of both sporting and banqueting events, this pivotal role will support our Hospitality team on a daily basis, with the setup of events.

Role Responsibility

As a Conference and Events Porter you will be responsible for:

Support with the setup of event spaces, assisting our Hospitality team with the day-to-day Conference and Events Business.

Ensure suites and meeting rooms are clean, tidy and functional
Assist with deliveries, ensuring paperwork matches the delivery, put away/store goods on arrival
Ensure that all equipment and materials are returned to the appropriate storeroom at the end of each shift
Be fully conversant with all operating procedure and implement accordingly
To be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard
Manage small setup team
