Role Responsibility

To be responsible for maintaining a high level of wet stock management including ordering, stock rotation, effective stock distribution within all areas of the business and precise stocktakes; essentially oversee the entire journey of the wet stock on site. Oversee bar function on large live events. Build and maintain a cellar and bar team. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained & ensure all equipment that relates to the department is cleaned and kept in good working order.

2. Bar Team
3. Cellar Team

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for set up and break down of bars, pre event and on the event evening
2. Manage bar operations on live events with bar managers
3. Assisting training of all those involved in sales and service of beverage products and ensuring all are aware of legislative requirements.
4. Support the operations team in delivering a first-class bar service to all customers.
5. To assist with paperwork and to be fully conversant with all paperwork involved in running the bars efficiently and to ensure the correct paperwork is completed for due diligence.
6. To supervise bar and cellar team whilst on site.
7. Guarantee availability at peak/busy periods for the business.
8. All tasks to be carried out with Sodexo Health & Safety regulations in mind, always documenting all H&S tasks.
9. That any damage or health and safety issues are reported in a timely manner.
10. That all waste products are disposed of and recorded as per wastage SOP and through our till systems
11. Complete the close down walk round documentation to ensure all areas are left clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
12. To conduct duties in a manner that reflects the business in a positive way.
13. To comply with any other reasonable request made by the management team.
14. Comply with company uniform standards and ensure team members are adhering to the same

• Previous experience working as Bar Supervisor in a demanding, fast paced wet lead environment

• Personal license holder if you have one
