Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £45,000 - £52,500 & range of excellent employee benefits
Hybrid – Monday-Friday

Sodexo has a great opportunity for 2 Project Engineers to join our established team working with our clients based in Macclesfield.

Joining our team at their large pharmaceutical & biotechnology site, you will be responsible for leading the Adhoc Works Team, overseeing chargeable works, and ensuring the successful execution of technical projects. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to innovation and process optimization.
The Project Engineers will collaborate closely with Duty Holders to provide engineering support and uphold & enforce compliance, delegating responsibilities as necessary. 

Helping to develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, you will manage project budgets, providing cost-effective solutions without compromising technical excellence.

Leveraging technical expertise to ensure the accurate and compliant execution of projects, with a focus on pharmaceutical or GMP practices, you will Implement streamlined workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
  • Background in the pharmaceutical or GMP industry is highly desired
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or GMP sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and execution of long-term technical plans.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for driving positive change
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Proactive and results-driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Qualifications required:
  • MIET, Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or equivalent technical experience.
