Job Introduction

Join us as an Electrical Engineer in York - YO31 8TA. We're on the look out for a skilled Electrician to join our corporate team to keep the lights shining bright! If you are passionate about electrical systems and have a commitment for safety, then we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do: 

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems 

  • Perform routine inspections and identify potential issues

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems with precision

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure project success

  • Adhere to safety standards and electrical codes

What you bring: 

  • Proven experience in an Electrician with the relevant and in date certifications and licences
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, tools and equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • City & Guilds Level 3 award or similar Basic Electrical course (Approved by Nestlé)
  • City & Guilds 2396 would be an advantage.
  • IOSH Passport or CSCS Card would also be an advantage.
  • Experience in electrical building services and plant engineering with a good all-round working knowledge of electrical systems would again be an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communications both written and verbal.

Package Description

  • Electrician 
  • Monday - Friday with an on-call rota
  • 40 Hours worked per week
  • £18.85per hour + Sodexo Benefits.
  • Full uniform and training provided
