Job Introduction
Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Kinsale, Ireland (occasional travel to other sites required)
Hours- Permeant, 39 hours per week
Salary: 50,000-55,000
Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for an experienced EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Advisor to champion a culture of safety, ensure compliance with all relevant policies, and support operational teams across our service lines (catering, cleaning, technical, reception, GxP).
You’ll act as a key point of contact for health, safety, food safety, business continuity, risk, and environmental matters across the site—working closely with both our internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of compliance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a positive safety culture and support operational teams with best-practice EHS guidance
Review and implement site-specific health and safety policies and ensure effective training and understanding
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and site walks
Ensure incidents and near misses are properly reported and investigated
Develop risk assessments and safe working procedures
Engage with the wider HSEQ community across Ireland to drive continuous improvement
Prepare monthly performance updates, tracking KPIs and LTIR
What We’re Looking For
Level 8 diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety
Strong communication and presentation skills
Commercial awareness and experience in business continuity planning
Skilled in risk management, audits, and incident investigation
Confident using Microsoft Office and reporting tools
Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside standard hour
