Door Technician

You'll keep things running, we’ll fast track your career as a Door Technician in Dublin. Industry experience is essential for this role. This is an opportunity for a professional, self motivated individual to join a team of dedicated technicians on our client site. We require someone with electrical and mechanical qualification/skills who has experience working in an industrial environment.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct schedule tests and calibration procedures to verify the functionality and accuracy of electrical components within the door systems.
- Adjust settings as necessary to optimize performance.
- Have a good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Fault find to component or circuit board level.
- Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance on a wide range of industrial doors, dock levellers, loading docks and air locks.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and address any concerns or questions on systems.

- At least 4 years industrial door experience including installations, service & repairs.
- A good knowledge of electrical & mechanical fault-finding.
- Must have excellent communication skills, with an ability to work efficiently within a team and individually.
- Must be very comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with automated door systems.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to ensure smooth operation and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements and safety standards related to scope of work.
- Maintain document practices of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

- Technical training in electrical systems preferred.
- Systematic approach to problem solving.
- 5 Plus years of experience in mechanical, commercial, and/or industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with a wide range of automated door systems, and related hardware
- Competent with the use of MS Office, with the ability to produce reports.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Collaborative, with the ability to work as part of an engaged and focused team.
- Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of the department and client.
- Exceptionally organized and able to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
- Pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.

- Monday to Thursday 8am until 4:30pm and Friday 8am until 3:30pm
- 39 hours per week
- €27 per hour + Sodexo benefits
