Location: Birmingham Cluster – Regional rolecovering West of England, Scotland & Northern Ireland

Contract: Full-time | Permanent

Hours: Core hours with occasional out-of-hoursand weekend work required

Security Clearance: SC Vetting required

Are you a hands-onengineer with a passion for operational excellence and compliance? Sodexo isrecruiting a Multiskilled Engineer to deliver day-to-day Hard FM servicesacross a key government contract. You’ll be part of a highly motivated teamensuring buildings operate safely and efficiently while exceeding servicedelivery expectations.


Your Role

As a MultiskilledEngineer, you will:

  • Maintain and repair M&E and building systems (boilers, pumps, HVAC, BMS, lighting, etc.)
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance using our CAFM systems
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure statutory compliance (e.g., COSHH, SSoW)
  • Participate in out-of-hours rota and emergency response
  • Support small project delivery and help drive FM innovation and improvement


 About You

Essential:

  • HND/NVQ in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Fit for physical demands of the job

Desirable:

  • Prior AP/CP designation (e.g., Boilers, Electrical, Confined Spaces)
  • Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo
