Deputy Services Manager
Job Introduction
We are looking for a highly organised, knowledgeable Deputy Services Manager to join our Sodexo team onsite in Leeds, with a prominent client in our corporate services segment. You will be accountable for the day-to-day management and control of the onsite Staff Shop, Mail Room, Fitness Centre and will also manage the cleaning team.
This would be ideal for someone with previous experience within Soft Facilities; a good knowledge of Health & Safety would also be key to your success.

Role Responsibility
- Work with the Facilities Manager to implement workplace operational standards and user experiences.
- Lead, develop, manage and motivate a high performing team to agreed expectations.
- Act as the main contact for all major internal events.
- Ensure seamless delivery of services under your management.
- Take accountability and act as the onsite customer services expert to ensure that the workplace strategy is deployed across site
- Be authentic, pioneering by promoting the workplace place function as a key business partner to drive effective communication and positive relationships
- Act as the site ambassador promoting a health and safety culture across our workplace. Support the Facilities Manager in completing workplace reviews and audits when required
- To ensure all compliance and health & safety is maintained in accordance with the site compliance trackers. This will include GxP cleaning records and related training for your cleaning team.
- Ensure regular and positive communications with Key Clients
- Support the wider Facilities team with incident response
- Ensure all changes are seamless delivered within the workplace from a user perspective
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar environment /or facilities services
- Good IT skills proficient with Microsoft package software
- Health and safety awareness or similar qualification
- Customer services management experience
- Experience of working successfully with accrediting and regulatory bodies and implementing associated customer services awards
- Experience of managing multiple workloads and shifting priorities
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Experience of upskilling team members, proven staff management experience

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday
