Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence and innovation in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.
As a Technical Services Engineer, you'll:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and extra works according to schedules and SLAs.
- Ensure operational effectiveness and reliability of site systems while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Complete all maintenance tasks and update records promptly, including statutory certifications.
- Perform fault finding, remedial work, and provide necessary reports on work and equipment.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors, attend site meetings, and provide on-call site cover as required.
What we're looking for:
- Strong health and safety knowledge with a background in electrical engineering, including relevant qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds).
- Experience maintaining electrical systems such as HV/LV, MCCs, switchboards, generators, and familiarity with BMS and CAFM systems.
- Proficient IT skills and knowledge of BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, adaptable team player with good personal grooming and physical fitness for demanding tasks.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in the relevant subject (Electrical Trade Qualification)
- C&G 2382-18 (18th Edition BS7671:2018) ideally with C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
IOSH
Qualification, CSCS Card and/or Safe Pass or equivalent
BS 2391 Inspection and Testing. IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable for the role
