Customer Services Administrator

Job Introduction

  • 22 hours per week
  • Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm. However, flexibility may be required to cover evening and weekend working to meet business needs
  • £13.71 per hour

Job Description:

As a Customer Service Administrator at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, PO1 3HH,  you'll be integral to the smooth running of accommodation and helpdesk services, handling a range of administrative tasks. Your organisational skills will ensure that everything behind the scenes operates efficiently, while providing the support needed by our managers. You’ll interact with Armed Forces personnel daily, improving their quality of life and making a positive impact on all you encounter.

What You’ll Do:

  • Allocate sports and accommodation bookings
  • Answer incoming calls to HMNB Portsmouth Helpdesk and respond promptly
  • Liaise with internal and external customers
  • Maintain excellent client/customer relationships
  • Assign all queries to appropriate manager through SMS system
  • Process all information with discretion and strict confidentiality in order to comply with data protection and other security requirements

What You Bring:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Able to build relationships at all levels within the organisation and externally with sub contractors and the client
