Credit Controller Supervisor

Job Introduction

Job Title: Credit Controller Supervisor
Location: Prestige Support Centre, Epsom, Surrey

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday

Your role at Prestige:

To provide an accurate and efficient service to both internal and external customers.

The Credit control supervisor will be responsible for supervising the team of credit controllers as well as all aspects of sales Ledger and credit control duties for a given group of accounts. This is to be done following the companies credit control procedures .

The Credit control manager will report to the Finance Director.

Role Responsibility

Responsibilities:

The credit control manager specific duties will include

  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure timely payments on major accounts
  • Manage the credit control team and mentor the Credit control team leader to develop their leadership potential
  • Cancelling and reissuing invoices
  • Allocate accounts to Credit controllers
  • Ensure payments are chased for overdue accounts
  • Training credit controllers
  • Implement robust policies and procedures e.g. Credit limits, direct debits, adhere to Delegation of Authority etc…
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Resolving internal and external queries
  • General credit control duties
  • Monitor performance against KPI’s
  • Support with other business projects as required

The Ideal Candidate

Skills and qualifications we’re looking for:

  • Ability to motivate others
  • Team player
  • Flexible may be required to work additional hours
  • Understand the need for confidentiality
  • Ability to converse effectively with clients and branch managers
  • Computer literate, strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative - self starter, must be able to prioritise tasks and be a manager of time
  • Possess excellent administration skills
  • Previous experience in sales Ledger/ credit control is essential
  • Healthcare experience is a strong preference
