Corporate Receptionist

Job Introduction

Providing a Front of House service within reception, you will be playing an instrumental role in delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Role Responsibility

  • Act as first point of contact for all queries in an efficient and concise manner
  •  Meet and greet all visitors and advise host of visitors arrival
  •  Act as point of contact for internal/external telephones queries
  •  Effectively build and maintain professional relations with both internal and external contacts
  •  General administrative and clerical support
  •  Liaise with staff and management to chase catering orders
  •  Able to deputise in Line Managers absence
  • Keep reception tidy and presentable
  •  Ability to work across London sites as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone
  • Right to work in the UK without restriction
  • Ability to liaise with people at a Senior Level

 

Desirable

 

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C (including Maths & English) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customers services principles and practices
  •  Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure

Package Description

To supply ‘World Class’ reception facilities in welcoming, liaison with clients, (telephone and visitors) and optimal booking and use of meeting rooms.

Job role

This position involves manning busy reception desks, dealing with visitors, bank staff and telephone calls in a courteous and prompt manner.  Part of the duties will be managing bookings for meeting rooms, communicating with the relevant teams (Housekeeping, Catering team etc.)  and carry out regular and systematic checks of the meeting rooms ensuring rooms are clean, tidy and set up to the required standard.

A full knowledge of the local area is required, a thorough understanding of the floor plans and where meeting rooms are located.

The candidate will be well presented, and must be able to demonstrate excellent spoken and written English and be able to communicate on all levels.

This role requires maintaining the highest standards of operation and customer service, with a positive attitude, being innovative and forward thinking.

The right candidate must be flexible around business needs; shift pattern is between the hours of 07.00 and 19.00.

Attention to detail must be shown at all times and customer care must be the forefront, ensuring we offer a quality service and product. Regular checks of working area are required and any reasonable requests made by the management.
