Job Introduction:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and being the friendly face that sets the tone for a positive experience? As a Receptionist at HMRC Glasgow, Atlantic Square, G2 8HS, you'll be atthe heart of our operation—ensuring smooth communication, creating a welcomingenvironment, and always putting the safety and satisfaction of our customersfirst. Our admin team plays a crucial role in running a seamless, efficientservice for all our clients and visitors.
What you’ll do:
Welcome visitors and handle phone and email enquiries.
Maintain cleanliness across designated areas in line with SLA standards.
Support with administrative and receptionist tasks (filing, organising paperwork, issuing keys).
Replenish kitchen supplies and assist catering or mailroom teams when required.
Operate tills and follow profit protection and cash-handling procedures.
Report maintenance or safety issues promptly and follow all Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
Wear correct uniform and PPE at all times.
Deliver a professional, friendly, and helpful service to all customers.
Be flexible to cover additional hours when required.
What You Bring:
Essential:
Ability to follow Health and Safety procedures at all times.
Strong understanding of cleaning standards and customer service expectations.
Commitment to teamwork and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Adherence to Quality Procedures and Health and Safety Guidelines.
Desirable:
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Previous experience in a customer-facing, reception, or facilities role.
