No Fixed Place of Work – Please note:  Travel to multiple sites across UK & Ireland will be necessary as and when required.  Sites that you will travel to are all on major train lines and City hubs, with travel to Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast, Manchester, London etc.

About the Role

Are you a dynamic leader ready to shape the future of facilities management? Sodexo is seeking a visionary Contract Director to oversee bundled FM services, including Hard FM (statutory compliance, projects, billable works), Soft FM (cleaning, waste, reception, mailroom), catering, sustainability, health & safety, and performance improvement across the UK & Ireland.

What You'll Do

• Lead – Be the driving force behind bundled FM services: from Hard FM (statutory compliance, projects, billable works) to Soft FM (cleaning, waste, reception, mailroom), catering, and sustainability initiatives.
• Strategise – Forge long-lasting client partnerships and tailor strategies to ever-evolving needs, acting as the pivotal link between clients and delivery teams.
• Transform – Inspire high-performing teams, championing change and continuous improvement in people, processes, and technology.
• Grow – Identify and seize new business opportunities, nurturing teams to smash financial and service targets.
• Optimise – Drive operational and financial performance, ensuring excellence, compliance, and best-in-class service at every turn.
• Champion – Promote diversity, equity, and workforce development, fostering a truly inclusive culture.
• Sustain – Lead on Net Zero Carbon and sustainability targets, making a real difference for people and planet.

Your Key Assignments

• Cultivate collaborative client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction
• Lead the Contract Leadership Team to deliver Sodexo’s workplace vision
• Coordinate financials, KPIs, budgeting, and change management with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage large, complex contracts with an eye for cost-effectiveness and compliance
• Oversee P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and billing activities
• Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental best practice
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team

What You'll Bring

• Significant leadership experience in FM, covering multiple sites and service lines
• Proven success managing large teams and P&L contracts
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills
• Commercial acumen – adept with complex financial data and shifting priorities
• Technical services know-how or qualifications, with sound understanding of soft services
• Competency with MS 365, CAFM/CMSS, and PowerBi
• Commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence
  1. Desirable: NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma, IWFM/CIBSE membership, CIEH Level 3, Non-frontline security licence
