Contract Design and Operational Excellence Lead

As the Contract Design and Operational Excellence Lead, you will be a senior technical leader at Sodexo UK&I, a growing business with £2 billion in revenue across 2,000 sites and 40,000 employees. Your expertise in solution design, contract management, and operational excellence will be critical in enhancing our competitiveness, profitability, and overall risk profile, directly impacting our bottom line and our clients' satisfaction.

What you’ll do:
  • Implement and manage the processes of Solution & Contract Design (S&CD) and Contract Management & Operational Excellence (CMOE) across the region
  • Lead a direct team and an indirect team (distributed across our operating segments), and adopt a robust governance model to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Use your expertise to help us win complex contracts and maximise our competitiveness while minimising risk.
  • Establish professional relationships across the region to drive a culture of business improvement
  • Develop and implement training programmes across all S&CD and CMOE
  • Lead the deployment of the processes and tools, ensuring compliance and long-term value creation

 
What you bring:
  • Degree in Engineering, Law, Accounting, Business Administration or Food Specialisation
  • Strong financial analytical skills and ability to derive business outcomes from data
  • Accreditations and experience in Lean/ 6Sigma/ Operational Excellence
  • Proven skills in Project Management and advanced Excel
  • Demonstrable experience in managing projects and/or processes in large multinational companies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to support the business[HL1] .
  • Strong influencing skills to create change and compliance in a complex multi-faceted business
