Construction Lead (Fixed Term Contract)
Job Introduction
Sodexo's Integrator team are looking for an experienced Construction Lead to join their team on a fixed term basis supporting with an exciting new project for a prestigious National Government client.
The aim of the project is to find, fit and set up 100 new sites across the UK and the Construction Lead will be responsible for the design and fit-out of the new sites.
The fixed term role will be until the end of 2020 with the potential to be extended.
You will need to be an expert in construction and working in the built environment with excellent project management skills, commercially minded and have good financial management skills.
Role Responsibility
- Leading the Sodexo Construction Workstream
- Direction setting and co-ordinating inputs from Lot Contractors
- Develop design standard and convert into the product sheets and work with QS to create fitout spec and pricing
- Deliver all fitout works across the traditional leasing and fitout package
- Agree deliverables with Programme Managers as on boarded
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- The role requires excellent people, organisation, communication and financial management skills
- This needs to be coupled with strong project management skills to ensure the integrity of the individual projects that are within the scope of the Programme
- The individual will need to have credibility within the Programme Steering Group and with wide Stakeholders
- They will need to be able to influence others and to develop and maintain robust relationships with all members of the Programme team and wider Sodexo and with the client
