Conference and Events Support Operations Manager

As the Conference and Events Support Operations Manager at Sodexo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of conferences, meetings, and events. You will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating logistics, and delivering seamless event support services.

What you’ll do: 

Collaborate with clients to understand the meetings and events requirements, goals and develop detailed event plans and timelines.
Manage and mentor a team of event coordinators and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
Communicate effectively with senior leaders and operational employees to deliver a consistent 5-star quality of service.
Build a strong relationship with wider Sodexo events teams, new and existing customers, and service providers.
Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth within the contract, and with external stakeholders.
Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day operation activities and appropriate governance of event and conferencing activities.

What you bring:

You will have experience of large-scale conference and events operations management.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
A creative flair to develop engaging communications through a wide range of tools and channels.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people at all levels.
