Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: €13.50 per hour
About the Role
Sodexo is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team at TUD Tallaght. You will work as part of a team while also being able to work independently, ensuring high cleaning standards are consistently met in line with client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality cleaning duties in line with client requirements.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Carry out ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required.
- Wear company uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures including housekeeping, infection control, and security.
- Follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations as instructed by the FM Manager.
- Report and attend to any faults with cleaning equipment promptly.
- Use appropriate safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs) and advise customers where necessary.
- Attend team meetings and complete all administrative tasks, such as cleaning checklists.
- Assist in managing cleaning consumables, including ordering and distribution.
- Work flexible hours to support school functions and out-of-hours requirements.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
