Cleaning Manager

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting a Cleaning Manager at RAF Halton in Aylesbury. This is primarily a Monday to Friday role, with occasional weekend / evening work required to meet business needs. RAF Halton is a big site, therefore it is vital that you have a valid UK driving licence as the site is vastly spread out. You will required to drive around the site in order to manage the service delivery.

As a Cleaning Manager, you will plan, organise and manage the delivery of all services within the cleaning operational business area, ensuring your team are motivated, engaged and getting the most from their roles. For this very busy high profile environment, we require a ‘can do’ team player who is well organised, articulate and professional. Role Responsibility

• Plan, organise and manage the delivery of all services within the cleaning operational business area
• Ensure standards of service detailed in the service level agreement, KPIs and within the schedules of the contractual terms and conditions are achieved, maintained and developed
• Contribute to the growth of all services in order to meet client and commercial expectations, whilst maintaining strict budgetary control in line with client and Sodexo expectations
• Monitor all cleaning and hygiene standards, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest level
• Manage all aspects of performance of an assigned group of direct reports

The Ideal Candidate

• Plan, organise and manage the delivery of all services within the cleaning operational business area

Desirable

• Previous cleaning experience
• Awareness of quality management systems e.g. ISO
• Health and Safety qualification equivalent to IOSH managing safely
• British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) qualified
• Knowledge of external cleaning developments and innovations
• Experience of working within military environment
