  • Shift pattern/ hours (Mon 12-18.00/ Tue 09.30-18.00 /Wed 09.30-18.00 /Thur 09.30-18.00/ Fri 07.00-15.00)
  • £12.61 per hour

 Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based CleaningOperative/Porter to join our team at HMPPS Newbold Revel, Stretton Under Fosse, Rugby CV23 0TH

In this role, you'll play akey part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site.

What you’ll do:

  • Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
  • Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor 
  • Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
  • Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
  • You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards.. whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too!
  • This role requires you to have an approachable attitude

  • Deliver clean linen across the site to accommodation blocks.

  • Distribute stock and supplies to cleaners as required.

  • Support portage duties and assist with additional tasks as directed by the line manager.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed 
  • Be a team player and take instruction
