Hours: 16 hours per week (overtimeavailable)
Shift Patterns: Monday 8.00am - 12.00Tuesday - Friday 8.00am - 11.00am
Rate Of Pay: £12.60 per hour - Plus Sodexo rewards and benefits
About the Role
Sodexo are seeking areliable and motivated Janitor Operator to join our Facilities team. You willbe responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the DiageoMaturation site. This role involves general cleaning duties, housekeeping, andsupporting the Facilities Department when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning of production areas, warehouse, cooperage, and site facilities.
- Empty internal and external bins and ensure car parks and site grounds are kept clean.
- Complete all cleaning tasks as per schedule and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including litter picking and floor care.
- Ensure correct use of PPE and compliance with Sodexo and Diageo Health & Safety procedures.
- Support Facilities operations during staff absence, holidays, or peak workload.
- Maintain good knowledge of site policies and emergency procedures.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff and management.
Essential Skills andExperience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Flexibility to provide cover when required.
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices and emergency procedures.
