Job Introduction

HMP Bronzefield is a large female prison that has an exciting opportunity for a part time cleaner, 30 hours per week, to join the soft services team.

Monday to Friday 5am to 11am (some flexibility may be possible) – over time maybe available and would be paid at an additional hourly rate.

The areas to be maintained will predominantly be with no prisoner contact and will include the admin offices, healthcare, training block and visits. Where you may occasionally encounter prisoners, they will be under the escort of officers. 

You will undertake all general domestic cleaning duties including hoovering, dusting, wiping down of surfaces and cleaning toilet, sink and kitchen areas.

There will be the occasional need to operate a large floor scrubber but full training for this will be provided.

Please note all roles within Sodexo Justice are subject to security and recruitment checks which may include a Social Media Check. You will also be asked to provide 5 years’ worth of references and request employment history details from the HMRC. In addition, post holders will be subjected to an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland check prior to being employed.
 
Salary of £19460.78 inclusive of London Weighting
