CAD Space Planner

Are you an AutoCAD wizz with great eye for detail and solid background in space planning? We have a great opening worth consideration right here!

Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced CAD Space planner to join our small high-performing team on a prestigious pharmaceutical client account. You would be a solution-oriented self-starter with great stakeholder interaction skills and great ability to manage your workload. You would be of facilities management or real estate background with a proven track record in a similar role and CAFM experience.

We offer a salary up to £45,000, Sodexo employee benefits and excellent development and progression opportunities within the company. Role offers flexibility in regards to hybrid working, some travel within UK and Republic of Ireland will be expected once permitted and safe to do so.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure CAD (DWG) Space plans, CAFM Systems and the Information Management (IM) Record drawings are kept current and to the correct standard.
  • Support MAC /Occupancy Planning (OP)- To ensure the demand required across the real estate portfolio is delivered including headcount, area measures, test fits; Smart working designs, Space classifications, Furniture assets etc
  • Ensure Workplace Standards are in alignment with Client’s global (WREF) Policies. 
  • To Maintain Stack plan information / Wayfinding signage / Department info.
  • To provide technical space planning support to the MAC Manager / OP.
  • Management of drawing updates via Serraview.
  • Provide support to Engineering CAD team when required on ECM System

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Background in facilities management or real estate field
  • Worked with space management and occupancy management databases and enterprise software solutions. 
  • CAFM systems experience
  • Have a working knowledge of H&S specific to workplace regulations 
  • Have a detailed knowledge of building workplace standards and relevant legislation
