Job Introduction:
Sodexo is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Business Centre Receptionist team member to join our on-site team at HMRC Liverpool Regional Centre. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors while providing administrative and facilities support to ensure smooth daily operations.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the main reception contact: manage phones, emails, and visitor queries professionally
- Support hospitality events, meeting room setups, and conference bookings via the Matrix system
- Maintain and restock coffee points; support catering and mailroom operations when needed
- Issue keys, log maintenance requests, and coordinate tasks using radio and FM systems
- Assist with general porterage, furniture movement, and room setups
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, security, and site-specific procedures
- Maintain records and support audits where applicable
What You Bring:
Essential:
- Awareness and adherence to Health & Safety procedures
- Ability to identify and complete tasks to a high standard
- Team-oriented with a proactive, helpful attitude
- Commitment to quality and safe working practices
Desirable:
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience in a similar facilities, front-of-house, or administrative role
