As a business administrator ID & banking your main duties will be helping to prepare prisoners for the outside world by helping them with obtaining their documentation. You will be supporting prisoners with applications via the Prisoner Banking Programme and ID programme. This includes following the relevant procedures, managing enquiries, and acting as the Single Point Of Contact for applicants and programme partners. You will be working closely with the prisoners.

All offers are subject to full security clearance checks. 

Salary: 24,691.91 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 with a regular Mon-Fri Pattern

Main Responsibilities: 

  • You will be the contact point for all communications to the team, you will priorities and distribute communications to the appropriate person or relevant department in establishment. 
  • You will be organizing meetings with prisoners who require ID and/or a basic bank account. 
  • Part of the main responsibilities is supporting Prison Employment Leads in their capacity to identify and match candidates to job opportunities in the prison and outside. 
  • Undertake a share of the transactional activity associated with the Activity Hub. This includes processing most or all the following categories of paperwork and inputting data ready for checking.
  • Prepare paperwork for checking by manager, conducting initial checks as required by the prison.
  • You will be using approved templates to maintain financial records as necessary, collect relevant management information and report on these as required.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Strong written and excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience of working across stakeholder groups
  • Has previous experience/understanding of recruitment processes/legislation (desirable).
  • Strong team building and peoples person.
  • Organisation skills are extremely important for this role.
  • Ability to work in partnership with NFN Managers, communicating strategy and priorities to providers and stakeholders.
