We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our technicalservices team, working in partnership with MTS todeliver essential medical device support to healthcare providers.

As a Biomedical Engineer, you'll provide planned andcorrective maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment, ensuring safe,compliant, and fully operational devices for frontline healthcareteams. You'll collaborate closely with your Team Leader and the widertechnical services function to exceed performance standards and build strongcustomer relationships.

To be successful inthis role you must be a driver with a license for over 2 years as you will beout and about across the Essex region.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on various biomedical devices
  • Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and health & safety policies at all times
  • Accurately update all service records in line with MTS’s Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Support and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Manage your schedule effectively while maintaining tools, stock, and spare parts inventory
  • Review service methods to support continuous improvement and innovation
  • Uphold Sodexo’s values by delivering exceptional technical service with a customer-first mindset  

 

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK biomedical engineering role
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, maintenance schedules, and service documentation
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A proactive approach to quality and safety standards
  • Experience with customer relationship management and supplier liaison
