Audit and Security Recruitment Coordinator

Job Introduction

  • Audit COVID19 Testing centres to ensure security and health and safety compliance
  • Support recruitment of security officers and retain the quality and quantity of employees needed for test centres by ensuring officers complete necessary training

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure all personnel are licenced at each site and details communicated to compliance team
  • Ensure all line managers are licensed and details communicated to compliance team
  • Check all officers wear PPE and report and deficiencies
  • Review that all risk assessments are in place for each test centre
  • Ensure AI’s are signed by all officers
  • Check that all security documentation is in place e.g. DOB and Assignment instructions
  • Ensure all officers have received site familiarisation and Health & safety training
  • Check that all officers are in possession of a job description and understand the contents
  • Create action plans for each site manager following an audit and follow up to ensure all actions are completed in a timely manner
  • Communicate audit results to the compliance team
  • All audits should be issued with 12 hours of completion, to site leads and account teams
  • Planning and completing internal audits on units when required. Providing advice on any corrective action needed.
  • Ensure all officers employed by Sodexo are vetted
  • Check the SIA licences of the security officers are valid
  • Complete a monthly summary report of audits that month

 

  • Produce offer and contractual paperwork without errors
  • Interface closely with the HR Services Team in PeopleCentre, to ensure candidate’s offer details are passed to them in order to have the candidates set up on the system
  • Support Resourcing Specialists with writing adverts, CV screening, telephone interviews, arranging interviews and providing initial candidate feedback.
  • Input new starters into UDC payroll
  • Liaise with control room teams on new starters and send new starter paperwork over to the control room
  • Complete right to work for new starters.
 

The Ideal Candidate

  • SIA Licence holder
  • Hold a security supervisors qualification or equivalent
  • Hold a full clean driving licence
  • Experience of auditing is desirable
  • Experience of dealing with the public
  • Experience of communicating security compliance information
  • Good inter personal skills
  • Good understanding of Recruitment processes, policies and procedures
  • Well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines and pays attention to detail
  •  Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Experience of using SAP
