Asset Reliability manager

Job Introduction

The focus of this role is to create meaningful output from operational asset management data to continuously improve the reliability of Assets.

Using all transactional data and transform it into understandable information. The data sets can include; Reactive, asset and PPM. This could include establishing trends and benchmarks in data and performing root cause analysis where necessary.

Role Responsibility

Understand assets and locations that require focus
Create reporting requirements; performance, reliability, MTBF, planned vs reactive, benchmark, failure trends
Analyse data and create meaningful outputs to improve asset performance
Work closely with other members of Asset Strategy team eg asset and PPM team to understand available data
Develop robust processes and documents to simplify work flow and ensure these processes are recorded and adhered to. Ensure that processes used are consistent across the Asset Strategy Team with other clients.
Enabling customer decisions to be made based on the factual and intelligent MI that is provided
Deliver regular reporting on activity
Project manage development work
Accountable for data structures and processes for reliability and continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate

Building services qualification or relevant demonstrable experience
Understanding of M&E systems and terminology
Experience within customer facing environments and resolving problems professionally
Experience in reporting and presenting to different audiences.
Data manipulation capability and analytical skills.
A desire for continuous improvement

Desirable

An understanding of asset management and applicable processes (Planned Maintenance, Life cycle management, capital planning, reactive work)
Previous experience in a similar role
Project management
IT Skills, with a working understanding of:
- Maximo
- Cognos
- Data warehousing
