Administrator - Health and Care Finance Hub

Job Introduction

As a Finance Administrator for Sodexo based in Salford Manchester, working within our Finance Hub, you’ll be a key member of the team and instrumental in ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly and on time in accordance with audit requirements.
You’ll be responsible for the input of invoices, processing payroll information, producing reports and input of stock take in line with our trading periods for Sodexo sites across our Health & Care business.

This exciting opportunity will initially be on a 12-month FTC, but with real scope to lead on to a permanent contract with Sodexo! We are currently working on a hybrid basis working at least 2 days per week in the office (more during your training).

Main Responsibilities
What you'll do:

  • Process financial transactions accurately and in accordance with policies, procedures, and audit requirements
  • Provide an efficient and effective finance administrative support service to the business.
  • Identify and resolve any payroll queries.
  • Ensure that all company procedures and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to
  • Build relationships with onsite operational managers and administrative staff.
  • Adapt to new ways of working both within Hub and at site level.

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring

  • Experience of working in an administrative role, preferably dealing with financial information, and working to deadlines. 
  • Proficient in using Excel to include creating formulas. 
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach to hours, especially around all deadlines, month and year end
