Sodexo is seeking an experienced and organised Hospitality Chef to support catering operations at the Mars Chocolate site in Slough. The role involves catering for all employees on site, at all levels, including VIP guests and corporate hospitality events.
This is a contract catering environment requiring the ability to produce food at scale while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety. The position is currently focused on cold kitchen production, with the potential for hot food service to be introduced in the future.
Prepare and deliver food for daily workplace catering, corporate hospitality, and VIP events.
Cater for large volumes, producing food for 300–400 people per service.
Manage and maintain the salad bar throughout service, including:
4 composite salads
10 plain salads
3 dressings
3 toppings
2 protein options
Produce buffet-style food, canapés, and sandwiches for on-site functions and events.
Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation across all food offerings.
Maintain full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards.
Support the smooth running of functions, including preparation, service, and replenishment.
Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver a professional service.
Proven experience as a Chef within a high-volume catering environment.
Contract catering experience preferred
Relevant professional cookery or culinary qualifications.
Experience producing food in large quantities while maintaining quality and consistency.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
A clear commitment to food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
A professional and reliable approach when working with employees, clients, and VIP guests.
