About the role
FM Technical Services Manager
HMP Northumberland | Sodexo
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to help lead Facilities Management at HMP Northumberland.
Working alongside the Deputy Head of FM, you’ll ensure the prison estate is safe, compliant, and running smoothly in a fast-paced, operational environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead technical FM services across the site
Ensure statutory compliance, PPM, and lifecycle works are delivered on time and to standard
Drive high standards in health & safety and safe systems of work
Manage budgets, contractors, and technical teams
Keep the estate secure, compliant, and fit for purpose
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in a technical FM or Total FM environment
Strong knowledge of compliance (Legionella, Fire Safety, PUWER)
IOSH Level 2 (or equivalent)
BIFM Level 4 (or equivalent)
Confident people manager and communicator
Experience with CAFM/BMS systems (Maximo desirable)
Background in 24/7 environments an advantage
