Sodexo is seeking an experienced Evening Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at Toyota GB Headquarters in Burgh Heath. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for the effective management of evening cleaning services, ensuring standards are consistently met in line with contract and client expectations.
The successful candidate will supervise the cleaning team, manage resources, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Manage and supervise all aspects of the evening cleaning service in line with contract specifications and agreed performance standards.
Allocate work to the cleaning team efficiently, ensuring coverage and productivity meet contractual requirements.
Order cleaning materials in accordance with company procedures using approved suppliers.
Monitor the condition of cleaning equipment, arranging repairs or replacements as required and ensuring equipment is safe, checked, and serviced.
Report equipment faults and ensure unsafe equipment is removed from use until resolved.
Ensure full compliance with company and client policies, including Health & Safety, COSHH, hygiene, fire safety, and safe working practices.
Identify and report health and safety hazards (e.g. blocked fire exits) in line with company and client procedures.
Uphold a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and site occupants.
Previous cleaning experience, including supervisory or management responsibility.
Good working knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety regulations, and professional cleaning practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and confident leading a team.
