We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Company Shop Assistant & Site Driver to support the day-to-day operation of the on-site branded shop while assisting with deliveries and site logistics. This varied role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.
Operate and maintain the on-site company shop, ensuring products are well presented in a clean, hygienic environment.
Deliver a friendly, efficient service and respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests.
Manage stock control, secure storage, and end-of-shift reconciliation, reporting any discrepancies.
Complete administrative tasks, emails, and documentation in line with company procedures.
Assist with site deliveries and collections across the unit and other locations as required.
Carry out vehicle checks before use and report any defects promptly.
Obtain proof of delivery signatures and follow correct delivery procedures.
Support mailroom, office services, and internal logistics where required.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance standards at all times.
Adapt to changing priorities and support ad-hoc operational requirements.
A valid UK driving licence and must be aged 21+ for insurance purposes.
Experience in retail, customer service, logistics, or a similar operational role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Basic IT skills and confidence completing documentation and tracking systems.
Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards.
A flexible, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
