Sodexo is looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to lead and support our evening cleaning team in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the site. This hands-on role is key to ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with Sodexo policies and health & safety regulations, while leading by example to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and support the evening cleaning team to deliver high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Take a hands-on approach to cleaning duties, leading by example at all times.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Maintain full compliance with Sodexo policies and all health & safety regulations.
  • Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in a Cleaning Team Leader or similar supervisory role, with strong knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and support team members.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team, with basic administrative and computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
