Management Accountant

Job Introduction

Our Business Shared Service centre based in Salford is undergoing a key period of change and the Management Accountant is pivotal to maintaining strong communications between the operational teams, finance and the client, all whilst a period of huge change moves along in the background.   

Role Responsibility

  • Manage P&L accounting activities for the operational teams
  • Work closely with operations to understand variances, reasons and solutions, providing recommendations where necessary
  • Review and analyse site performance against KPIs
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner with Account Directors
  • Ensure month end is completed on time and accurately
  • Review and analyse cash movements and stock trends, highlighting any areas of concern
  •  Control the invoicing process and work with credit management to quickly resolve any overdue debts 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA or Qualified AAT
  • Strong Management Accounting skills particularly around P&L and cash management
  • Good Excel skills ideally but not essentially with SAP experience
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

£20,000 to £27,000 plus benefits
