Management Accountant
Job Introduction
Our Business Shared Service centre based in Salford is undergoing a key period of change and the Management Accountant is pivotal to maintaining strong communications between the operational teams, finance and the client, all whilst a period of huge change moves along in the background.
Role Responsibility
- Manage P&L accounting activities for the operational teams
- Work closely with operations to understand variances, reasons and solutions, providing recommendations where necessary
- Review and analyse site performance against KPIs
- Act as a Finance Business Partner with Account Directors
- Ensure month end is completed on time and accurately
- Review and analyse cash movements and stock trends, highlighting any areas of concern
- Control the invoicing process and work with credit management to quickly resolve any overdue debts
The Ideal Candidate
- Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA or Qualified AAT
- Strong Management Accounting skills particularly around P&L and cash management
- Good Excel skills ideally but not essentially with SAP experience
- Good communication skills both written and verbal

£20,000 to £27,000 plus benefits
