Sales Manager - Part Time

Role Responsibility

This role involves proactively targeting sales to drive Conference and Events sales pipeline for the range of venues and events portfolio both within Scotland and the rest of the UK.

  • Manage a weekly diary to include scheduling of appointments (minimum of 4 per week)
  • You will secure new national and local business in line with the UK sales team strategy.
  • Manage a sales strategy and tactical action plan showing clear ROI and sales KPI’s.
  • Work closely with the national accounts team and venue sales teams on lead opportunities and targeted market activity.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the national accounts and Central Enquiry Hub teams ensuring client event briefs are fulfilled and proposals produced accurately.
  • Carry out targeted research projects/ sales blitz to generate new business and target lapsed business.
  • Ensure CRM system and National Enquiry tracker is kept up to date.
  • Coordinate and attend any networking events, exhibitions, workshops, meetings, sales trips where necessary.
  • Liaise with key industry partners to promote and represent the company, our venues and services.
  • Maintain up to date venue information, brochures and packages to ensure they are readily available to pass on to clients.
  • Produce a monthly report of sales activity, enquiry levels from key accounts, and successes achieved for the Regional Sales Meeting.
  • On non working days emails and messages need to be passed on for action to the central support team to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally degree calibre with experience of selling within the hospitality arena.
  • A proven track record in a proactive sales role
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Very customer focused
  • Desire to succeed and committed to meet company expectations and KPI’s

£21,000 + Benefits + Bonus
