We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Weekend Breakfast Chef to join our friendly team at our Gwent site. This Saturday and Sunday morning role is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts and takes pride in delivering a high-quality breakfast service.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, well-presented breakfasts in a fast-paced but supportive environment, consistently maintaining excellent standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality breakfast and catering services in line with dietary requirements, allergen controls, brand standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, health & safety, and statutory compliance, ensuring all food safety and due diligence documentation is completed accurately.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring service runs efficiently and professionally.
  • Work flexibly to support the wider site when required, including covering holidays or sickness and attending training or team meetings.
  • Ensure the security of kitchen areas, equipment, and company assets at all times.

What you'll bring:

  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality, with experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of food preparation, allergen awareness, and food safety standards, with attention to quality and presentation.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop — formal qualifications are not essential.
  • Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • A reliable and resilient approach, able to work calmly under pressure and take pride in delivering consistently high standards.
  • A supportive team player who leads by example and works well with others.
