Support and deputise for the Head Chef, leading the kitchen in their absence
Assist in planning and delivering a consistent, high-quality food offer
Ensure food safety and allergen standards are met and maintained
Provide mentoring and direction to junior kitchen staff
Contribute to menu planning, stock control, and kitchen efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
Trained to Sous Chef level or above
Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
High standards of food preparation and presentation
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
Desirable qualifications: NVQ, SVQ in professional cookery, City & Guilds or diploma
