Deepdale is a prestigious footballing venue, home to Preston North End and steeped in history. The Lilywhites' home ground holds the privileged title of being the oldest professional footballing site in the world in continuous use.
Whilst many sides have shifted about from spot to spot in their short or long term history, Preston North End have remained loyal to the piece of turf in PR1, making it their home since 21st January 1875 when the club's members first took out a lease on the plot of land.
In 2004, the famous ‘The Splash’ statue was built to honour Sit Tom Finney, the club’s most famous former player, which now sits proudly outside of ‘The Gentry Bar’, PNE’s new fan zone.
What you'll do
- To attend pre-match managers briefings, partaking in training required by legislation and the company.
- To monitor staff working practices and assist with the training and development of staff to ensure they are working efficiently and productively with reference to responsibilities and job description of staff and deal with any staff complaints
- Ensuring that Kiosk staff are attentive to guests needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times.
- Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving food & beverages to guests while dealing with any complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Making sure staff are signed in, fully briefed and given their allocated break time
- Always ensure you and your team remain smart and presentable in line with the company’s dress and appearance policy
